We had our family picture taken last night for the new church directory. I think they turned out nice. It was hard to say no to anything but the free picture...thankfully it was not so hard for Chris. Like he said, anyone could go to walmart and get a family picture for under $20.

Thankfully I have my camera so I capture many pictures of my family. Although I could capture many more. Chris enjoys seeing a kind of "week in review" in the pictures I've taken of the kids being kids.

Last night, after pictures, we came home and ate an ice cream sandwich and then we all played a short game of soccer in the front yard. The kids said I was better than they thought...I stunk, so I wonder how bad they thought I would be.

Chris obviously does not know, or just does not care that in soccer, there is no: taunting, pushing, holding, kissing and tackling.

Storms are possible on Mother's Day. There is always some type of severe weather around Mother's Day. Many years there have even been tornadoes.

The baby has learned the art of manipulation..."peas, peeeassssa momma" gets me everytime!

Speaking of the baby (who will be 2 soon. Can he still be "the baby"?)...he will grab your arm and say, "see it? see it?" when he wants to show you something. "See it" apparently has much greater impact when said almost nose to nose.
(I'm having some internet issues so no pictures. I'll come back and post some yummy pictutes of the baby enjoying his first ice cream sandwich.)
Thanks Jennifer for another Friday of Quick Takes.
