We have been looking for a tea set made in the USA for Tea Time to finish our school day. We found one at GW Boutique for $65-25%=$48.75. For a tea set you say? Wait, there's more! Dinner plates, saucers, salad plates, dessert bowels, soup/cereal bowls, gravy boat, 2 serving platters, divided appetizer tray, butter dish, tea pot, tea cups, coffee cups, creamer, sugar bowl, big pitcher...82 pieces in all! I just found my pattern and linked to it. I have almost $500.00 worth of dishes sitting on my counter waiting to be washed!

While mowing tonight, my prayer came in handy. One frog avoided, one snake chopped up.

My family does not like beans...does.not. (unless they are refried.) Tonight I used a recipe from my friend. My kids asked for more. (recipe at end of post)

One of our favorite men has stopped by three times this week...the UPS man! The baby has received a mower that blows bubbles and a wheel barrow for his upcoming birthday. We also got bubbles! Three seasons of I Love Lucy, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers (one of The Best movies ever) and Enchanted. Thanks Opa & Oma! Pictures soon. The baby is asleep on me so I can't download the pictures right now.

Next week I'm going to be giving away one of my favorite books, The Power of a Praying Wife. I have several to give away...stay tuned!
Thanks Jennifer!
Yummy Beans
3 cups dry pinto beans, washed
1 large onion, sliced
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4-1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
a pepper I diced a green Anaheim, but you could use a can of green chilis or a diced jalapeno
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1/3 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon cumin
5 teaspoons salt (I will use less next time)
Place in crock pot on high. I cooked mine from about 10am to 5pm, so 7hrs. We ate them over crused tortilla chips with cheddar cheese on top.
