7QT's

{1}
My sister encouraged us to plant a garden this year. It is really doing well.

{2}
I've had issues with gardening in the past due to pregnancy or new baby...so far not this year.

The kids have really enjoyed soccer camp this week. I think I'm going to start speaking with a European accent though. The coaches do, and the kids listen intently to every word they say...partly because they can't understand them.

The tile guy is scheduled to begin laying the tile in two weeks and should be here about a week. During that time, we plan on staying in the camper for the majority of the time.

I am really enjoying Bringing Up Girls by Dr Dobson. He is right on in so many areas, like it is difficult to find age appropriate clothing for girls past the age of about 6. My young daughters do not need a leopard print pair of panties and matching push up bra...come on corporate America, let them be children.

This weekend we will celebrate the birthday of my oldest and my youngest. A lady at soccer last night was talking...and we were laughing...and she told me "don't think people don't talk about you because you've got so many children and you homeschool..." You know, that's something I already knew, but to hear someone actually say it...Anyway, 12 years ago I became who I was meant to be...a mother.

Another great book I've been reading is the Power of a Praying Parent. While I've been sitting at soccer camp, I've reworded the prayers to include some specific things I want to pray for my children and to make the language a little more familiar. I pray these over my children at night and it just needed a little tweaking on my part so I could do that in their presence.

I bought the Power of a Praying Parent after reading, and using, and giving away copies to all my friends of The Power of a Praying Wife.

I am opening comments today because I have two copies of The Power of a Praying Wife to give away! Just leave your name in the comments section, whether you have a blog or not, and I will choose the winner Monday.
