Psalm 24

All is Yours...everything I see, tread on, dig hands deep into, smell. I too am Yours and You created me for a this place...And You declared it good. How can I want for more?

The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine; the world and all that is in it, thou hast founded them.
†Psalm 89:11

Keep me from falsehood Lord. Keep me close so I can discern the lies of the world, the lies to self, the lies of self. I want only Your truth be a part of me. I need constant reminders right now, that You are the mighty warrior, that You have already won the battle. When I struggle, it is to remain in You, so I can rest.

You are the King of Glory!

Will you join me each weekend as I learn the practice of lectio divina while walking through the Psalms?

  4. Thank you for your kind comment and for visiting Jenny. I really identify with your post on listening and talking. My marriage is much the same. I am so verbal-he so quiet. I am trying to learn to be a better listener. I think it is a true gift.

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone.
