Do you know how hard it is to find a corded wall mounted phone, without an answering machine? It is hard! We ended up buying a (hopefully not poorly made) $15 slim line one at Target, after looking at Walmart, Best Buy, and Radio Shack. I really want a retro looking, but not rotary phone for our dinning room/kitchen. I found some on line this morning, $100. Guess I'm sticking with the cheapo one. I'm now on the lookout at all garage sales...

I did not take any official "before" photos, but I will post some official "after" photos. To me, taking before pics would seem like prep work and I hate prep work. I want to walk into a room and get to work.

I think I've narrowed my favorite painting of Emily's. But I also really like this one, and this one for a bedroom and this one is pretty, and I love the colors in this one. It's funny because I'm not much of "art" person, I prefer photographs, but her work draws me in. I visit her online gallery a couple of times a week just to look around.

Isn't it funny the connections made through the world wide web? I can view a Canadian artists work that I typically would not have been drawn to, I can learn from a beautiful woman on the East coast, my heart can be moved toward Him by another Canadian. I have enjoyed each and every link and comment made to my blog and the precious souls on the other end of the screen.
