7QT's

{1}
The weather has been considerably cooler this week. It's amazing how cooler weather can put a spring back into your step and re energize.

{2}
Here is a site I visit every morning, Augustine Day by Day and then I click on Tradition Day by Day. I enjoy the small samples of the Fathers of the Church in very digestible portions.

{3}
Here is a must listen, Audio Sancto. Yesterday as I walked around the soccer fields I listened to On the Perfection of Motherhood, and Mothers Build for Eternity. They are about 20 minutes total for the both of them...well worth the listen!

{4}
My sister and I are going to watch the Simply Charlotte Mason Workshop this weekend. I am so excited for the information, the snacks and the time spent in good conversation about educating our children for eternity.

{5}
Speaking of educating our children for eternity, I now have a mission statement for parenting and educating. I went to a little gathering of a few close friends who homeschool and a couple of mothers who were thinking about it. A friend suggested a homeschool mission statement. Although intrigued by the idea I thought it unnecessary. As I've been reevaluating my parenting of late, it of course spills over into the educating of my children. My mission statement found me! Of course it deserves its own post...

Chris informed me last night that during hunting season he is going to take me on date to eat an Indian Taco. We've never had one and there is this little roadside cafe near the hunting land that has a big sign out front advertising Indian Tacos.

{7}
Speaking of hunting season, it's getting close. Which means all the honey do's are getting done and he's doing all he can to please me because once hunting season starts, he is consumed...mentally and physically. So last night we went to look for a glider for the front porch! I love the months right before hunting season starts!!

Thank you Jennifer!
